A very passionate young chef. With an incredible drive for perfection. His name is Luuk Hoffman only 21 years old and already a very sophisticated taste for the art of cooking. Nothing makes him happier than trying new things, experimenting with extraordinary pallets and with an eye for quality and trends. He is extremely creative and always hungry for more. With a very quirky and fun personality, besides that he is a very pollite and modus young man.
A young talent in the kitchen with quite the experience under his belt. From "de moerbei" in Warmond dedicated with one michelin star to being a finalist in the National Championships of cooking in The Netherlands 2012. He has already earned a placement at "de Librije" in Zwolle with three michelin stars and "Beluga" in Maastricht which was dedicated two michelin stars. Luuk is momentarily a student at the "Sterrenklas of Amsterdam" a fine culinary masters degree and one of the best schools The Netherlands has to offer. His whole world turned upside down when he entered the competition for a internship at Martín Berasategui, Spain. As he calls it "the holy grail"
I have often heard people say: " We live for food", but he lives for the experience and joy it brings to people. Satisfaction and perfection is key.
He is truly one to watch, I hope you will enjoy his blog.
